A 35-year-old man has died following a disturbance in a street in South Lanarkshire.
Police were called to reports of an incident in Springhill Street, Douglas, at about 20:35 on Sunday.
Emergency services also attended but the man was pronounced dead the the scene. His family has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
Police Scotland confirmed the man's death was being treated as suspicious and inquiries were ongoing.
